Is the Lack of Dietary Fiber in Your Diet POISONING You?

It is a sobering fact that some 200,000 people in the USA will die this year of problems stemming from their digestive tracts, most notably colon cancer. These disorders will spur 60,000,000 doctor office visits and cost $120,000,000,000.00 (that's 120 BILLION Dollars) in medical expenses and other repercussions.

While these figures are alarming, what is truly amazing is that the vast majority of these problems could be solved if the individuals affected made one very simple change to their diets.

Virtually all of these "digestive tract" problems have a single root cause....LACK OF DIETARY FIBER!

Given that most Health Care Practitioners are advising people to consume more dietary fiber, and that there is also a wealth of scientific research available that suggests that fiber may help prevent some cancers, diabetes, heart disease, obesity and chronic habit constipation, we wonder why very few people are listening.

While the primary purpose of this website is to promote our fiber product, we would also like to point out that all fiber products are unnecessary IF you are prepared to modify your diet and eat at least 80% of your total food intake as RAW fruit and vegetables.

So, if you can make that change, you do not need to purchase our Fiber-Klenz Plus.

If, on the other hand, you are one of the 95% of Americans who find it hard to make that change, then we suggest that you read the information we present on this website carefully, as you really do need to supplement your diet with dietary fiber....and Fiber-Klenz Plus is an extraordinarily effective fiber product.

HOW TO TELL IF YOU ARE GETTING ENOUGH FIBER!

Simple, humans who consume the optimum amount of dietary fiber have 2 soft bowel movements per DAY every DAY.

If you are the average American, you are lucky to have 3 bowel movements a WEEK, and chances are you suffer from chronic habit constipation, caused by a lack of adequate dietary fiber in the "foods" you consume.

Chronic habit constipation is NOT a normal condition.

Sitting in the bathroom reading a book, 3 times a week as you strain to move your bowels for an hour or more is NOT normal.

If you do not adjust your dietary habits and solve the problem by consuming more fiber, you stand a VERY good chance of developing a serious disease and possibly dying as a result.

So how much fiber do you need each day?

While there is no official RDA established for fiber, the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine, which provides national dietary guidelines, gives the following daily recommendations for adults:

  • 30 grams for men and 21 grams for women.

Estimates are that the average American "diet" is only providing 5-7 grams of fiber daily, which falls far short of the amount needed to help maintain optimum health.

WHAT IS DIETARY FIBER?

While the scientific definition of fiber is that it is an indigestible complex carbohydrate found in plants, there is much more to fiber than the average person realizes.

What Grandma calls roughage, scientists know as fiber. Fiber is not a single food or substance. Fiber in itself has no calories because the body cannot absorb (digest) it. Therefore, high fiber foods low in fat (such as fruits and vegetables) are also low in calories.

Fiber can be divided into two categories according to their physical characteristics and effects on the body: Water insoluble and water soluble.

Each form functions differently and provides different health benefits. Insoluble fibers, such as cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin, do not dissolve in water, while soluble fibers, such as gum and pectin, do dissolve in water.

An effective fiber product should contain fiber from many different sources.
